• Palestinian Ambassador to India Adnan Abu Alhaijaa said on Monday that he does not expect any assistance from New Delhi amid Israel’s war on Gaza. “I have called them [the Indian government] many many times,” Alhaijaa told The Indian Express. “They did nothing. • Hundreds of patients, doctors and health workers are trapped inside Gaza city’s largest hospitals, including Al-Shifa, as fighting between the Israeli forces and militant groups continued around the medical facilities, officials in the region said on Monday. More than 30 patients, including three newborns, have died in the Al-Shifa hospital in the last three days due to the shortage of supplies and electricity, Reuters quoted Gaza health ministry spokesperson Ashraf al-Qidra as saying. Israel has accused Palestinian militant group Hamas of using the hospitals as cover for its fighters. United States President Joe Biden on Monday called on Tel Aviv to protect the civilians stranded inside the hospitals.

Today, November 14, is the last date to register without payment of late fee for the 2nd phase of School Teacher recruitment in Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Registered candidates can apply for the vacancies on the official website onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in till November 25. The last date to register by paying late fees is November 17.

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released the final answer key for the Assistant Executive Engineers in various Engineering services. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the answer key from the official website psc.ap.gov.in.

The APPSC AEE exam was conducted on August 21 and 22 in two sessions. The provisional answer key was released on August 28 and objections were invited till August 31. The final answer key has been prepared taking these objections into consideration. The results will be prepared on the basis of the final answer key and no further objections will be entertained.

The authorities in Uttarakhand have established communication with workers who are trapped after a portion of an under-construction tunnel collapsed, officials told ANI on Monday.

The tunnel, located on the Brahmakhal-Yamunotri national highway, collapsed in the early hours of Sunday, leaving 40 workers trapped inside. The tunnel is part of the Char Dham Road Project to build all-weather roads in Uttarakhand.

Uttarkashi Circle Officer Prashant Kumar said that all the workers are safe and being supplied with oxygen through a pipe, according to NDTV. The authorities have also sent food and water to them, he added.

The National Disaster Response Force, the State Disaster Response Force, the police and the fire brigade are conducting rescue operations.

The Uttarkashi circle officer said that the debris at the spot is about 60 metres deep. “As we are clearing the debris, it is falling from above,” he said. “We have moved around 15 metres inside the tunnel, and 35 metres are still to be covered.”

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released the provisional answer key for the recently conducted Group D Services recruitment exam 2023. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their answer keys and raise objections on the official website hssc.gov.in till 5.00 PM today, November 13.

The HSSC Group D recruitment exam was held on on October 21 and 22, from 10.00 am to 11:45 am and from 3.00 pm to 4.45 pm, including five minutes for marking the fifth option. The HSSC Group D recruitment drive aims to fill up to 13,536 posts (tentative) in various Departments/ Boards/ Corporations/ Commissions etc in Haryana. The pay scale is Level DL (Rs 16,900-53,500). The HSSC Group D exam city slips were released on October 11.

The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has announced the results of the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Service Competitive (Main) Examination, 2023. Eligible candidates can download the results from the official website hppsc.hp.gov.in.

The Judiciary exam was conducted from September 18 to 22, 2023. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held from August 19 to 24 which was deferred due to widespread damage to the roads caused by unprecedented rains and in view of bad weather conditions.
