In an interview to a news channel on October 25, former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria identified himself as a “sanatani” and said it was his duty to speak against atrocities on Hindus. The toll from the October 29 blasts at a Jehovah’s Witnesses gathering in Kerala’s Ernakulam district increased to six on Thursday after a critically injured man succumbed to burns, PTI reported.
The 24-year-old identified as Praveen Pradeep, a resident of Malayatoor, died at a private hospital on Thursday, Mathrubhumi reported. He had been in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
Praveen’s mother, who had suffered serious injuries in the explosions, died on November 11. His sister Libina had succumbed to injuries on October 30, a day after the blasts, PTI reported.
His brother Rahul was also injured in the blasts and he is undergoing treatment.
At least two big explosions occurred at a convention centre of the Christian group in Kalamassery municipality area on October 29.
Hours after the blasts, a man named Dominic Martin had surrendered to the police in the Thrissur district claiming responsibility for them.
Before surrendering, Martin, a resident of Ernakulum, had said in a social media post that he was enraged at the “teachings” of the Jehovah’s Witnesses congregation. The post was later deleted.

वहीं पीएम किसान पोर्टल पर भी इस संबंध में अपडेट हो चुका है। हालांकि बहुत से किसानों को योजना की 15वीं किस्त का लाभ नहीं मिलेंगे। आज हम आपको जानकारी देने जा रहे हैं कल पीएम मोदी द्वारा जारी की जाने वाली किस्त का लाभ किन किसानों को नहीं मिलेगा, जो किसान अपनी ई-केवाईसी नहीं करवाएंगे, उन्हें 15वीं किस्त का लाभ नहीं मिलेगा।

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has announced that the official mock test for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2023) is live from today, November 14. Registered candidates can attempt the mock tests on the official website iimcat.ac.in.
The examination is scheduled to be conducted on November 26 in Computer Based Test or CBT mode. Earlier, the admit cards were scheduled to be released on October 25.
“The Mock Test contains selected questions from previous years’ Common Admission Test (CAT) papers with an aim to familiarize the candidates with different types of questions generally asked in CAT (MCQs/ Non-MCQs) and the exam console. The given Mock Test has been designed with a total duration of 120 minutes for the non PwD candidate (40 minutes each for three seconds) based on the pattern followed in the last year. The objective of this Mock Test is not to disclose the exam pattern for CAT 2023 and the actual exam may or may not contain similar type or number of questions. Please note that CAT 2023 will have a total duration of 120 minutes for the non-PwD candidate (40 minutes each for three seconds). The PwD candidates will be given 40 minutes extra,” reads the notification.

इसके तहत पीएम मोदी देश के करोड़ों लाभार्थी किसानों के खाते में 2 हजार रुपए की इस राशि को डीबीटी के माध्यम से खाते में हस्तांतरण करेंगे। केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने सोशल मीडिया के माध्यम से इस बात की जानकारी दी है।
पीएम किसान योजना के तहत केन्द्र सरकार की ओर से किसानों की प्रति वर्ष छह हजार रुपए की आर्थिक सहायता दी जाती है। किसानों को ये राशि साल में तीन किस्तों में दी जाती है। अभी तक योजना की 14 किस्ते जारी हो चुकी हैं। अब बुधवार को पीएम मोदी द्वारा 15वीं किस्त जारी की जाएगी।

Hockey India on Tuesday named the Indian team for the FIH Hockey men’s Junior World Cup 2023, set to take place from December 5 to December 16 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
India have been drawn in Pool C alongside Canada, South Korea and Spain. Their journey commences on December 5 with a clash against South Korea, followed by Spain and Canada on December 7 and 9 respectively.

Officials at the site of the partially collapsed under-construction tunnel in Uttarakhand on Tuesday began using steel pipes to rescue workers trapped inside, The Indian Express reported.
The tunnel, located on the Brahmakhal-Yamunotri national highway, collapsed in the early hours of Sunday, leaving 40 workers trapped. The tunnel is part of the Char Dham Road Project to build all-weather roads in Uttarakhand.
Authorities are attempting to rescue the workers by inserting large-diameter mild steel pipes through the rubble by using auger drilling machines. Auger drilling involves using a screw-shaped tool to make holes into the ground or other surfaces.
The National Disaster Response Force, State Disaster Response Force, the police and the fire brigade are conducting rescue operations.

The Armed Forces Tribunal has suspended the life sentence of an Army captain who was found guilty in March of having killed three men in a “staged” encounter in Kashmir, PTI reported on Monday.
The tribunal also granted conditional bail to the officer identified as Bhoopendra Singh. It clarified, however, that it was not staying his conviction.
On July 18, 2020, security forces in Kashmir claimed to have killed three “unidentified hardcore terrorists” in a gunfight in Amshipora village of Kashmir’s Shopian district. The men, all related to one another, were later identified as 16-year-old Ibrar Ahmad, 20-year-old Imtiyaz Ahmad and 25-year-old Mohammed Ibrar.
Their families filed a missing persons complaint on August 10, 2022. They said that the men were labourers and not militants.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police then formed a Special Investigation Team, which filed a chargesheet accusing three persons, including Singh, of staging the gunfight.
The Army then set up a Court of Inquiry, which found preliminary evidence that security forces exceeded powers given to them under the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act. In March, an Army court found Singh guilty on six charges, including murder.
